Implementing organizations
CDAIS is funded by the European Union and is jointly implemented by Agrinatura and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).
The project benefits from the complementarity of skills and experience at all levels. It mobilizes political support at global and country level through the FAO, and apply technical support from Agrinatura and its 2000 professionals from 18 European countries, coupled with the experience of many committed national stakeholders and experts.
In doing so, the partnership helps to ensure that future agricultural innovation systems are better able to improve the livelihoods of farmers, agricultural entrepreneurs and consumers. At a global level, CDAIS supports the development of a Common Framework on Capacity Development for Agricultural Innovation Systems and related activities in the context of the Tropical Agriculture Platform (TAP), a G20 initiative launched to facilitate capacity development in agricultural innovation in the tropics.
