Last Tuesday, 28 November 2017, the Angolan CDAIS ‘marketplace’ was held in Luanda, with the aim of forging new agricultural innovation partnerships.

Amongst the more than 50 participants, the event was honoured to have been attended by Carlos Alberto Pinto, Secretary of State for Agriculture, Mamadou Diallo, FAO Representative in Angola, and Danilo Barbero, Delegate for European Union Cooperation, and Armando Valente, Director of the National Institute of Agricultural Research.

The three CDAIS ‘niches’ in Angola, Rural Entrepreneurship, Rice Development and Planalto Seeds, presented and discussed their projects with research institutes, NGOs, cooperation agencies, service providers, companies and banks, among others, and new synergies were created.

The next steps will be to consolidate the contacts established, and to implement activities as defined in the different action plans.
