  • To share information and experiences gained through previous and futures actions in market place for agricultural innovation
  • To establish partnerships, associations or any other type of collaboration

Market place thread:

  • Formal acts
  • Introduction to the CDAIS project
  • Objectives, needs assessment process, lessons learnt from CDAIS project
  • Explanation of the World coffee methodology
  • Distribution of working groups
  • Presentation of innovative Niches/partnerships’ demands on capacities
  • Conclusions and decision on follow up process
  • Evaluation of the event

Methodology of the event:

The Market place was organized following the World Coffee methodology, beginning with formal acts, a plenary with a presentation of the participants, an introduction of CDAIS project, illustration – objectives and methodology for the market place. A total of 8 working table (2 for each niche) where actors of the niche took place were organized. Participants stayed 20 minutes at the table and listened to the requirements of innovations identified in the action plans validated the day before. At the end of the meeting, each table came out with agreements of collaboration between the niches’ stakeholders and the organizations able to finance and/or implement interventions for capacity development.

Afterwards, a plenary presentation gave the opportunity to the niches’ stakeholders to present the agreements on collaboration previously agreed. This way, the different organizations clarified concerns and developed the information about the collaborative work to be done.

Eventually, each participant at the market trade event filled an evaluation paper to get its appreciation of the first experience of World Coffee organized in Honduras.
